What are tips to completing mahalo tasks?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If your set on doing tasks but you aren't familiar with the current tasks, pick something that is at least easy to find. Pick an actor (or whatever) and google it. If lots comes up, it will be easy for you to do. If just a couple things come up, it will be difficult. This is especially true when the subject is of foreign origin. You'll have trouble finding English websites.
Try to get your info from a variety of sources other than wikipedia. Yes, wikipedia DOES have everything, but it's not a very credible source. Though sometimes you need it. For example, I had a terrible time finding a Basketball player's highschool. The only place I came across it was wikipedia.
Source every fact.
Fast Facts are much easier than guide notes because you don't have to put much thought in to it, but it's much easier to pick up guide note tasks on something your familiar with.
Good luck!

M$If you are able to pull relevant questions to your topic and the completion of your task then you can go back to Mahalo Answers and answer the questions you have searched for. Thereby giving yourself a the information you need to complete your task and hopefully the points and cash for having given the best answer.
