What are the top three must-see attractions in South Africa?

My friend and her husband won an all-expense paid trip to South Africa, to watch the 2010 FIFA World Cup. They have been compiling a list of the events, attractions and places they would visit when they get to South Africa. On their list they already have Kruger National Park, Apartheid Museum, Lion Park, Top of Africa and the Johannesburg Art Gallery. Can anyone tell me the top three attractions in South Africa that can make a visit worthwhile?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Making a list of must-see attractions in South Africa is not an easy task, but here without further ado, is list of the top must-see places in South Africa.

- Table Mountain is a must see for any visitor to Cape Town.
- The Garden Route is a series of bays, cliffs, beaches and towns, stretching hundreds of kilometres from Heidelberg in the west to the Tsitsikamma Forest in the East.
- Robben Island a formerly "home" to Nelson Mandela and other black political "enemies" of the white apartheid government.

Moreover, there are many Cultural villages throughout SA so don't forget to visit them too.

Good luck for your tour.

Virginia's famous romantic bed and breakfasts

My top three attractions for a holiday in South Africa would be:

1) A South Africa safari in the Kruger National Park

2) Table Mountain in Cape Town

3) Ride a luxury train between Cape Town & Pretoria

South Africa is the top safari destination for the adventure lover. Its natural beauty and the exotic wildlife will make your visit to South Africa more exciting in every way. Adventurous travelers recommend that the Kruger National park , Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park , and Etosha National Park are the top safari destinations.

You can see the guideline for visiting these safari destinations at the site below.
