What are the top three educational and fun places, to take a group of children in Seattle Washington?

If you were in charge of an educational event for your child's scout trip, where would be the top three places you would look in to going? Would you try for something easy like taking them to near by museums, or would you try to find something more original and creative, like a local hike, or something environmentally friendly? Why would you choose these, as great lesson trips for children, and where are they located?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If i were in charge of children's scout trip I would bring them to museums so that they will be able to see a glimpse of the past, and some fun places where their imagination and creativeness will be enhanced.
These are my top 3 picks must-visit places in Seattle, Washington:

1. Museum of Flight is a very big facility filled with all things that are related to flight. This would surely grab the attention of the children. You will find here the primitive glider designed by Wright brothers to the modern "Blackbird" capable of Mac 3 and an 80,00 ft ceiling.

There are a number of buildings that are found there which includes the main exhibit hall, the "Red Barn" which was the original manufacturing facility for Boeing, the new wing featuring "Personal Courage", and also the Airpark which showcases a number of prototype aircraft like 747s and 737 and rare ones like the first jet propelled "Air Force One" and a Concorde Jet.

2.Experience Music Project Museum is offering fun and informational exhibits to inspire musical creativity. Music can greatly enhance children's learning capabilities. So this should be included in the itinerary.

3.Lake Washington Fish Ladder has underground windows that offer a rare view of migrating salmon and trout passing through the fish ladder headed for rivers and streams to their spawning. This experience will surely be implanted in the minds of the children.
