I am not really a big fan of horror films because it really gets to me. I remember watching ‘’ Dracula’’ and had nightmares all night until my mom started sleeping in my bed. But while I was in college, I met a friend watching ‘’ Scream’’ and got curious and joined her, it was one of the most thrilling horror films I have ever seen. which five horror flicks have you seen?

Hi @iklilian! I am not a fan of horror movies myself but I learn to like it because of my sister. We often watched movies together in the theaters and every time I will cover my eyes because I'm scared she will tell me that we have paid to watch the movie so I should stop covering my eyes. She was in high school at that time while I was in grade school.
I don't let my daughters watch horror movies though because I don't want them to have nightmares. I did have nightmares when I was a child but seldom only and I think that was good. I have a niece and I was very amused when we watched a horror movie together. She was 6 at that time and I was sitting beside her. And she asked me, if I'm scared and I answered, "Yes." And she said, "Don't worry, I am here." Well, I was amused and speechless at that time and hugged her.
I forgot what was the movie we were watching that but I became a little brave in watching horror movies and my close friends in college enjoyed watching horror movies together. The horror movies that I really like and scare me are Nightmare on Elm Street, Salem's Lot, Poltergeist, The Exorcist, Dawn of the Dead, The Ring and The Thing.
