In my experience, abuse of benzodiazepines causes many problems, both physical and mental, the physical problems are generally forgetfulness or anterograde amnesia, and seizures, some mental effects are extreme depression, aggression, and depersonalization. I have been addicted to benzodiazepines and they are not anything to play with, there are only two drugs that can cause death from severe withdrawal they are alcohol and benzodiazepines. If you know someone who is addicted, please make sure that they get medical help when quitting benzodiazepines. When i decided to quit them i went cold turkey (not a good idea) for about 10 hours i could not remember my name, my birthday, and i was driving and i could not remember what the colors of the stoplights meant.
