What are the movies that inspired you the most?

I love watching movies even when I was still a child. I remembered going to the movie theater together with my parents and siblings. My father is especially fond of adventure movies, action-packed ones and those that have jungle settings. My favorite movies are those that inspired me most. These are "Paying It Forward", "It Could Happen To You", and "The Pursuit of Happyness" These are the movies that I thought brings out the best in a person. What movies inspired you most?

There are many movies that have inspired me over the years. Some would be odd choices in some peoples' opinions, but many that are about worldly topics help me want to be a better person or raise awareness. I am sure I'll leave some out, as there are too many to remember them all.

Blood Diamonds: This movie made me open my eyes to something I didn't realize was going on. I help inspired to do something about the problem. So I refused to buy diamonds ever again.

Lorenzo's Oil: The movie was very inspiring about a mothers love and how you never give up hope for your child.

Wild Hearts Can't be Broken: I watched this movie a long time after it came out. I wished I had watched it sooner. It makes you want to get up and chase your dreams.

Mr. Holland's Opus: Great movie that makes you feel moved and to make the best of what you have. Sometimes you are a success, even if at first you might not realize it. To touch so many lives is a great thing.

The Blind Side: This movie really moved me and it was recently.

Heart: The story of Marilyn Bell. What a great story, she never gave up and did the impossible.

Gracie's Choice: Remarkable story about a girl who gives up her life to help her siblings. Sometimes the greatest rewards in life are putting other people's needs before our own.

Another is Something the Lord Made, that movie was awesome!

There are so many more, these just stand out today.

There are many movies that have inspired me, but one stands out above all the others... Gandhi.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVwCeGxTN-A

It inspired my in many ways, for example showing what just one person with no money and no great power can do, and by demonstrating the possibilities of finding peaceful ways forward in the face of deep-rooted conflicts.

Apart from that, it made me rethink my attitude to my Indian heritage. I must admit before I saw the movie when it first came out, I tended to think of India as basically just a poor and backward country, and nothing much to be proud about. The movie was eye opening and made me a lot more interested in Indian culture and philosophy.

I guess it's some measure of the movie's inspiration that over the years I've read a few books about Gandhi and given a lot of thought to his methods, and whether they could be applied or not in different situations.

It still influences my political thinking, and especially my optimism about the solubility of seemingly intractable world problems.

I love a nice inspirational movie, the ones where your eyes tear up with joy! Last night we watched ]Remember M]e and so that is fresh in my head. Although the ending was sad. The boy had made such a difference in the world while he was here on earth and that just warmed my heart. I LOVE how he stood up for his little sister who was getting picked on. That is a very dear subject close to my heart. I really can not stand when people get picked on and can relate to taking a stand. That My whole family watched the movie and my daughter and I cried alot! It was just a real nice feel good movie. The Notebook ranks very high on my list as well.

It depends. "Auntie Mame" with Rosalind Russell has go to be my all time inspiration and incentive movies. Life is a banquet and some poor sucker is starving to death, or Live Live LIve pretty muich explains it all.
There has been no other movie that has given me encouragement to try something new.

I think The Grapes of Wrath in inspiring and I think it should be seen by everyone. It shows what it's like to really have nothing and makes you see that a lot of our problems are smaller than we think they are.

These are some of the movies that have inspired me the most. You might be conversant with some of them. They include:

*The Pursuit of Happyness

Since this is one of your favorites too, you would agree with me that it is a great film. I felt inspired on by how the lead character that was acted by will smith could over all obstacles he faced and finally reach a good phase of his life. I felt on the edge of tears from the beginning and middle of the film , but the end was worthwhile.

*Cinderella Man

This movie is nothing like the Cinderella story that w is all used to. This is the story of a man who fought his way to victory. He faced a lot of obstacles ,but at the end , his victory surpassed all of it

*ROCKY
Rocky Balboa is the lead character of this movie. He overcame all odds through his boxing skills to make it to the top.

Other movies that have inspired me include:

*World's Fastest Indian

*The Kite Runner

*Ray

*Mr. Holland’s Opus
