Blood Diamonds: This movie made me open my eyes to something I didn't realize was going on. I help inspired to do something about the problem. So I refused to buy diamonds ever again.
Lorenzo's Oil: The movie was very inspiring about a mothers love and how you never give up hope for your child.
Wild Hearts Can't be Broken: I watched this movie a long time after it came out. I wished I had watched it sooner. It makes you want to get up and chase your dreams.
Mr. Holland's Opus: Great movie that makes you feel moved and to make the best of what you have. Sometimes you are a success, even if at first you might not realize it. To touch so many lives is a great thing.
The Blind Side: This movie really moved me and it was recently.
Heart: The story of Marilyn Bell. What a great story, she never gave up and did the impossible.
Gracie's Choice: Remarkable story about a girl who gives up her life to help her siblings. Sometimes the greatest rewards in life are putting other people's needs before our own.
Another is Something the Lord Made, that movie was awesome!
There are so many more, these just stand out today.

It inspired my in many ways, for example showing what just one person with no money and no great power can do, and by demonstrating the possibilities of finding peaceful ways forward in the face of deep-rooted conflicts.
Apart from that, it made me rethink my attitude to my Indian heritage. I must admit before I saw the movie when it first came out, I tended to think of India as basically just a poor and backward country, and nothing much to be proud about. The movie was eye opening and made me a lot more interested in Indian culture and philosophy.
I guess it's some measure of the movie's inspiration that over the years I've read a few books about Gandhi and given a lot of thought to his methods, and whether they could be applied or not in different situations.
It still influences my political thinking, and especially my optimism about the solubility of seemingly intractable world problems.

Since this is one of your favorites too, you would agree with me that it is a great film. I felt inspired on by how the lead character that was acted by will smith could over all obstacles he faced and finally reach a good phase of his life. I felt on the edge of tears from the beginning and middle of the film , but the end was worthwhile.
*Cinderella Man
This movie is nothing like the Cinderella story that w is all used to. This is the story of a man who fought his way to victory. He faced a lot of obstacles ,but at the end , his victory surpassed all of it
*ROCKY
Rocky Balboa is the lead character of this movie. He overcame all odds through his boxing skills to make it to the top.
Other movies that have inspired me include:
*World's Fastest Indian
*The Kite Runner
*Ray
*Mr. Holland’s Opus
