What are the major differences between Photoshop and GIMP?
I know that Photoshop and GIMP are programs used for editing images. I am curious because I have heard a lot about the GIMP and Photoshop; some of my friends prefer photo shop over GIMP. Are there features that are available in the Photoshop that does not exist in GIMP? Are both of them available for Windows, Mac or Linux? What are the key features that make a person chose one over the other?
