What are the main attractions of Baltimore, MD?

There are several different things you can do in Baltimore but really it depends on what sort of things you actually want to do there. If you want to check out sports events you can always to watch the Baltimore Orioles play some baseball if you are visiting at the right time of year. You can also check out the Baltimore Ravens who are having a resurgence in the NFL right now. Of course if you are looking to check out the history of the city you can also check out Edgar Allen Poe’s old house. He kept a home in Baltimore and that is actually the reason why the Baltimore Ravens have the name that they do, as homage to the famous author and poet.

There are many things you can do in Baltimore. If you are a sports fan you can watch the Baltimore Orioles baseball team during the spring and summer. If you are in Baltimore during the fall, you can go to Baltimore Ravens football game. If you like animals, there is the Maryland Zoo located in Baltimore and the National Aquarium. If you enjoy visting a museum there are many of them as well. Some of the museums include American Visionary Art Museum, the Port Discovery Children's Museum and the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum. There are nearly 200 dining and nightlife options throughout the city as well. There are nearly 30 places to shop in Baltimore too.
