Microsoft Points used on their XBox platform was the subject of a lawsuit class action on the basis that this pricing system was deceptive to their customers. Lassoff who was taking this action previously was involved in a case against Google over click fraud. In the Microsoft Points lawsuit, Lassoff alleged that consumers had to buy Microsoft Points in batches of 500 then bought goods for 200, so had large amounts of unspent currency.
