I think the new facts revealed about a supermassive black hole at the galactic center of the Milky Way is pretty cool. Also the fact that the 4 arms of our galaxy are named as follows:

pink Carina and Sagittarius Arm
There are at least two smaller arms or spurs, including:

sadly it's not like the Star Wars galaxy with Corsucant at the galactic center. ^^
Do you think a black hole is at the center of the Milky Way?
What is known : The galactic center has a compact object of large mass which affects the swirl around it, radio and X-ray waves are being emitted, and the general belief is that most galaxies have supermassive black holes at the center.
I doubt the galactic center is a blackhole. The core center is massive. Blackholes have accretion disks that emit certain X-Ray burst patterns. Is the Galactic center emitting Hawking radiation?
