What are the highlights and lowlights of the 2010 Winter Olympics for you so far? (As of 2/16/10)

For me personally, the highlight was the Gold Medal by Dutch speed skater Sven Kramer at the Olympic Speed Skating event.
It was a tough event, even though he was the 'sure to win' Gold Medalist. Still, he managed to actually win, despite the very bad ice conditions.
That brings me to one of the two lowlights of these Olympics. Yesterday, the TWO machines used to prepare the ice for the speed skating event broke down, and the THIRD one wasn't even prepared! Basically, the organization screwed the entire event, and have to fly in a new machine from Calgary, in order to be able to complete the event!
But, that pales in comparison to the luge accident involving Nodar Kumaritashvili, who died when being catapulted out of the luge halfpipe.
Nothing compares to that tragedy.
