What are the hangul lyrics to this version of Arirang?
I am looking for the Hangul lyrics to a very specific version of Arirang. Google (and other) web searches have not given me the answer, although they have certainly give me the lyrics to some of the more popular versions of the song.
Please see the video that I have linked to. That is the version that I am interested in.
This is what I have thus far:
아리랑, 아리랑, 아라리요...
아리랑 고개로 넘어간다.
나를 버리고 가시는 님은
십리도 못가서 발병난다.
아리랑, 아리랑, 아라리요...
아리랑 고개로 넘어간다.
청청하늘엔 청 별도 많고
우리네 가슴
I am not necessarily looking for the English translation, but if you can give the English translation as well then that is appreciated. Of course, I can not give any additional Mahalo dollars if you do this. The $5 that I am offering here is my remaining balance.
However, I am specifically interested in the Hangul lyrics. Please do not give the romanized version of the lyrics. I will not accept a romanized version, even if it is accurate.
Please see the video that I have linked to. That is the version that I am talking about.
I realize that this may be difficult. Please understand that $5 is my remaining balance.
Thank you very much for the information. :)

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Unfortunately the lyrics to this particular version couldn't be found. :( This is not unexpected because I have searched for quite some time on my own without finding it.
That is a version of the song. There seems to be several and not all of them have their lyrics on line. I had hoped to be able to find another variation of the song but so far no luck. I don't know if the Lyrics already submitted are the same for the Gyeonggi Province or not. The newer lyrics are allegedly out of there.
That's very close awrit and I wish that Mahalo would allow me to rate your answer as helpful, but apparently my "rank" isn't high enough to do that. That seems kind of silly, but I didn't design the website...
The song deviates slightly from the lyrics on both of those pages at lines 7 & 8, and then becomes completely different after that.
This has been the cause of much of my frustration with this particular version of the song. It's lovely and I really want to know it, but searching the web has brought me effectively what it has got you: Something that's close, but then differs completely in the last two or three lines.
I can read and understand Korean well enough to follow the lyrics while she's singing, but I am not yet good enough to transcribe from listening; there are too many words with sounds that are too similar, and I can never be certain that I'm correctly writing what I'm hearing.
I was wondering who the artist is? It's is possible that it might be posted on her website.
I don't know the artist's name. According to a Google translation, the Chinese says Korean Arirang.
