Shrimp is havested in the Gulf and southern waters of florida. There are five types of shrimps being consumed .There is the "Pink Shrimp" they are tender and sweet, "white shrimp" is a crunchy tasty meat, "brown shrimp" has a stronger flavor than the white and pink shrimp, "royal red shrimp" it excellent for creating delicious sauces and "rock shrimp" has a sweet taste and a chewy tender texture.
