What are the differences in the main religions?
Where can I view comparisons of different religions? Is it acceptable to attend different places of worship as a visitor?

I’m not certain what you mean by main religions. The religions I’m most familiar with the differences and similarities of are Judaism, Christianity and Islam. These are some of the most popular religions in the world. Jews believe that Jesus has not yet arrived and are still waiting for Him. Christians believe that Jesus the son of God has arrived and is our savior. Muslims (followers of Islam) believe that Jesus was only a prophet of God and not part of God himself.
The best and least biased comparison of Islam to Judaism and Christianity that I’ve found is on the Islam Wikipedia page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam

Muslims repudiate the Christian doctrine of the Trinity and divinity of Jesus, comparing it to polytheism but accept Jesus as a prophet.

Most places of worship welcome visitors. If you’re uncertain as to whether the place of worship you want to visit will allow you to attend a service or mass as a nonmember, the best thing to do is to call the church secretary to confirm that you are welcome there as a visitor.
