San Diego is named after Saint Didacus and is the second largest city in California, after Los Angeles. Many local residents will claim it has the best weather to be found for the entire West Coast from Canada to Mexico. Temperatures for the daily maximum have an overall average range between 65-77F, and rainfall for the entire year averages 10 inches.
