What are the cheapest automobiles to purchase under the 'cash for clunkers' act CARS (Car Allowance Rebate System)?

http://www.cars.gov/index.php

I'm primarily interested in automatic vehicles, but I would think other members of mahalo answers would be interested in manual transmission, which seems to be the cheaper choice. :(
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Up here in Alaska I have seen 09 Ford Focus SE going for $7,995 after rebates with the cash for clunkers. Too me thats pretty damn cheap for an 09, automatic as well.

I think right now the cheapest cars you will find would be found by going to Chrysler dealerships. Chrysler announced yesterday that they will be matching the governments Cash-for-Clunkers payment, which means you could get up to $9,000 off a new Chrysler!

You would think so, but looking at the sites for the Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep brands... all the ones they show that qualify for the program seem to have rather high starting MSRPs. Either that, or I'm missing something (or maybe they're just not listing all their qualifying models.) Feel free to correct me, however.
