Its annoying because most times I'm working on a school assignment and trying to find info on google and then I click on a PDF webpage and it freezes everything and my work is lost!

Solution: Use a DVR and skip through the commercials! The other option would be to have all videos encoded the same way to avoid the problem before broadcast.

Use foxit reader instead of Adobe Reader http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader , I believe it also installs a add-on to firefox so you can view files in the browser ( requirement ). You'll never look back.
