There are lots of weapons for Bishock. These are the wrench, pistol, machine gun, shotgun, grenade launcher, , chemical thrower and crossbow.
One of the best weapon for BioShock is the Wrench. There are many melee weapons on BioShock and while BioShock's Wrench seems at first to be a mismatch. The wrench has the ability to power up this plumbing implement with the game's incredible Tonics that make it so great. Using the Wrench Lurker tonic, you can turn yourself into a sneaky, crazed maniac who brains Splicers] in the back of the head.
You can go for assault with a wrench that hits hard and fast, freeze enemies in place which cause them to burst into chunks of ice with subsequent hits. It helps heal yourself and increase your Eve every time you connect.
With an additional Tonic, you can send out an electric nova called Static Discharge whenever you get hit yourself. In all of this you can take the wrench through pretty much the whole game with the exception of Big Daddies and couple of bosses that you could use it against pretty much every enemy.
