I've had great success with proactiv. I tried a lot and I mean a lot of store brands in my teens and for the most part none of them worked long term. They worked for awhile then just.. stopped. I've been using proactiv for around 6 years now and it still works. Though I can't get them to ship slow enough. (You get it cheaper for enrolling in there club) so now I just cancel after every package and reorder when I need more. I get a free gift everytime that way too lol the free gift is a mask and it's awesome.

my wife swears by tea tree oil. you can find it in most any vitamin store. Just rub some on your face after you wash it with soap before bed. Depending on what specialty store you go to, it's not that expensive. should be less than $10.

otherwise, Proactiv works great for most everyone. The price isn't too bad either, and often they give free trials.
