What are the best techniques to use when making the perfect Egg Roll?
I am an egg roll fiend! I have always wanted to learn the best tips and tricks to making them. Some may think this is easy, but some of the people I know, including myself have issue rolling them perfectly, or close to. We always manage to have the filling poking out of one end, or a side busting open. So does anyone have any helpful tips to making the perfectly wrapped egg roll or is anyone able to find some awesome tricks to making perfect egg rolls, as far as appearance and taste? All suggestions would be much appreciated!

Start small. Don't put so much filling that the finished product is bulging because the chance of breaking them when cooking is greater.
Start by placing your filling in the area close to one edge of the wrapper but not fully to each end. You want just enough wrapper to roll over the fillingand touch down to the wrapper laying in the table. This makes a tight roll. If you place your filling in the center of the wrapper, you have to much looseness in the roll which makes it messy to eat and easy to fall apart.
Rolling eggrolls, lumpia, chimichanga, burritos are all similar in concept and the key to their continued success is to practice practice practice
