There are several good sports game for the iPad. Some people might prefer one over the other, but from my research, some of the highly recommended ones includes;
*Need For Speed Shift: Need for Speed Shift was created by Electronic Arts. The game is a racing game that meets a player’s expectation. There are about 28 different cars available for you to select from. You can even choose some of the including exclusive ones, such as the Nissan GT-R (R35), the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, the Lexus LF-A Concept and the Koenigsegg CCX. The game has good HD graphics very nice manual controls. It cost $12.99 in the iTunes store.
*Real Racing HD: this cost $9.99 in the iTunes store and it is another racing game. It is just like Need for Speed Shift but you get to choose to race in 45 different countries and you can apply your own images to your racing car (really cool).
Other good ones include:
*NCAA Football by also by Electronic Arts and cost $6.99
*NFL 2010 HD was created by Gameloft and cost $4.99
*NBA Hotshot HD was created by Freeverse and cost $2.99
*Tiger Woods PGA Tour was also created by Electronic Arts and cost $4.99)
