What are the best safari parks and packages in South Africa?

Tip for best answer: M$0.27
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The best safari park in South Africa is the Kruger National Park, it's location is ideal as it's close to large cities which means you can easily break up your safari experience with a few days around Durban or Cape Town.

I have been on safari three times. Twice in Botswana and once in South Africa. In Botswana I used the Santuary Group and had fly in safaris with guided tours. When I went to South Africa I did a self catering safari and drove myself in Umfolozi National Park. It was amazing but you should do the guided tour before you do the self catering so you know what to look for and what animals you should be cautious of.
