Wonderful Memphis Course
We payed almost nothing to eat, drink and play 18 holes of golf. We talked a little to the course pro and he seemed really nice. The greens looked good considering it is city run. I recommend this course to anybody.
Pros: great staff, cheap drinks, good golf
Cons: Hickory Hood

Easy course
For a golfing novice, this is a good place to play your first nine-holes. The course is easy and very straightforward, so you can usually make par and find your next hole. The price for a game of golf is also one of the cheapest in the city.
Good course for beginners
I am not a good golfer, and I rarely make it past the ninth hole. That's why this course is perfect! It's a very short 9-hole course. It's a very pretty area and the course is nice enough. Golf afficionados will not be overly impressed, but it's cheap enough (and short enough) that you can go there for regular practice! I like it there.

Nice course
Galloway is the nicest public course in the city, and because it is public, the price is still quite reasonable. However, not the easiest course, and the course is surrounded by very expensive homes. So if you're new to the game, start out at Overton, or you could be sorry.

Not bad at all!
This isnt a bad course at all!!!! Im a beginner at golf and this is a good course to go and build up some moral. Its in great condition and the part that i was impressed about the most was that they had water out every 3 or 4 holes for people. Definitely would try this place out at least once.
