Soap and water as in daily showers or bathing and some king of underarm deodorant should solve the problem, and yes body odor is very offensive to those of us who are not used to it. In fact it's more than offensive, it can make others sick. If simple good hygiene doesn't solve the problem you may want to see a doctor as there are some serious medical conditions that can cause certain odors of the body. If you're healthy and there's still an offensive odor you may want to take two showers a day, or take showers after heavy activity.
