What are the best plants to put in containers to bring color to my patio?
I live in northeast Colorado. My back patio faces east and is in direct sun most of the day. I want to add four medium size containers (one at each corner) to bring some life and color to the area. What are some great plants and flowers that I can add to these containers? I want a variety of colors and textures. What plants to best in containers in warm Colorado weather?

The most helpful plan for establishing successful container gardening is offered by Lowe's at Lowes.com/OutdoorLiving. This site was immensely helpful to me. I have a container garden of Dahlias (assorted colors) and Kiss Gazania (assorted colors) and some New Guinea Impatiens. They seem to do well in hot, sunny climates (Arizona). Lowe's also offers a one year guarantee on trees, shrubs, and perennials. They will replace them free of charge is they don't survive a year. Just bring in the plant and receipt. Great deal. Great website.
