Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi there@kelea!

I’m not from Tampa but there’s one place there that I’m dying to visit. :) If you’re going there with your family (or kids, if you have kids), it will be a fun learning experience for each one of you. I’m talking about Big Cat Rescue Organization. You can see their official website from here: http://www.bigcatrescue.org/.

Big Cat Rescue is a home for abandoned, abused and injured big cats. You can see some of the big cats, take pictures, and learn from the experience. This facility is not similar to a typical zoo where animals are caged with only minimal space to walk or run. At Big Cat Rescue, they have acres of land where tigers, lions and other big cats can roam around. It’s more like a haven for wild animals who unfortunately won’t be able to go back to their natural habitat due to some complications.

You can check the tour schedule and fees from this page: http://bigcatrescue.org/visit-us

You can also check out their Youtube account where they frequently upload videos of their big cats (link: youtube.com/user/bigcatrescue). It’s a very fun place, I’m sure. If I’ll be in Tampa, I’d definitely visit this place. :)
