Personally, I'm a big fan of Santa Monica. My husband I went there quite a few times when we first met, so that's a real special place for us. The pier is really nice to see and walk on, especially as it is just getting dark and all the lights on the fair ground rides are on. It is also essential that you have to ride the rollercoaster there (just my advice;)).
