What are the best open source tools for creating/coordinating the idea of a multimedia online/terrestrial community "superstation?"
Last night I announced the Chicago "MediaHub" Project, where I challenged myself and my journalist/host/interactive/marketing/IT/activist friends to join me to create a new type of media station in Chicago.

There are a TON of talented people out there in the Mahalo/Twitter and Facebook/MySpace/YouTube/Pandora worlds who PROBABLY know how to help me make this happen. This is an effort to make sure free, unfettered, real-time global Journalism and Media Production resources are assembled as an alternative to the downfall of global news and media conglomerates' former reach.
The test bed is to help me make ScottsBigMouth the first show to be based on "the MediaHub" concept, as a way to make granters, donors, rainmakers, and people who believe a project is critical to their own freedom believe it can be done.
Email to join in at ChicagoMediaHub@gmail.com and by all means get a hold of me to participate, no matter where in the universe you are. The project will serve the globe, not just Chicago, but you have to walk before you can run, right?
