You can start making extra money by writing online articles at different websites. I currently use eHow, Bukisa and article base to write my articles and make some extra money each month. It's not a lot-I'll tell you that. But if you are good and have lots of time to devote to each of those sites you can make up to $500 per month. Good luck. I would not look at finding a job online, most of them are scams. Home based tech support is about the only legit one I can think of.

If you are ready to put 10-12 hours into it, and have some time to burn before you make any money, you are in good shape.

Take what you know, whatever your passion is, and start researching all the resources there are for it out there. Built your own site that is a resource as well. You can run AdSense from google, Amazon gives you commissions if someone clicks on a link from your site, and there is Commission Junction as well.

If you can build a site, on average, you can figure, for every 1000 unique visitors per day, you will earn $100.00 a month in commissions. This is not a stead fast rule, but in general, I have found that is a good average to apply to how much you can make.

It will move around, some sites make a lot more per user, some make a lot less, depends on how much of a niche market you are in for the most part. It will take some time to build your audience.

Just remember, do not try to game the system. There are balances to be maintained. Just adding 1 ad to your site may make you $10.00 a month, do not think by adding 100 ads to your site you will make 100 times that. There is a point where you become annoying, and spammy.

If you have the time, and the passion, this is the tried and true way to make money online. It is more entrepreneurial than just getting some job online, more work, but more rewarding in the long run.
