The best films to see in 3D are films that are actually shot in 3D, or made with 3D in mind. Most of the poor quality 3D films are simply conversions of standard 2D movies that are made just to justify selling higher ticket prices. Converting films to 3D also tends to make things much darker, which could adversely affect the entire viewing experience. Examples of bad 3D conversions are this year's Clash of the Titans and The Last Airbender.
