What are the best Magento Ecommerce hosting providers with these detailed prerequisites?
- Multiple store hosting using several different domain names on the same hosting account & Magento installation. I know Magento supports this, I just want to make sure the hosting provider supports this, specifically from the domain/DNS perspective and any extra costs that may apply.
- The hosting provider handles all maintenance/upgrades of the Magento installation. Basically I don't want to have to deal with this hassle.
Please include any setup costs & monthly costs associated with each hosting provider and ratings of the hosting providers would be awesome as well if possible.

They are largest web hosting providers in the planet ,that might be sales speak but even if they are not I think they are well worth a try. For E-commerce hosting they have listed Oscommerce as well as Zen Cart But I'm sure they also host Magenta since all three are Open Source and they all derive from the same platform.Go on check it out for yourself and good luck, I hope I was of help to you.
NB-I have come across some neat step by step information on how you can manually install Magento ecommerce on godaddy dot com from the official Magento forum, you can check out the link. godaddy certainly hosts and supports Magento ,it looks like the cheapest option to use from where I stand.

M$Hello,
I advise you to have a look at the hosts listed on this page:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/general/magento-web-hosting
These are all hosts which will install the Magento software for free and is compatible with the requirements.
Please note that Magento is quite a resource intensive application, so most regular shared hosting services will have problems.
Personally, I am using ProperHost.net for my store, and have so far been very satisfied with the service. Their servers are optimized for Magento. I have their Magento Basic plan.
