What are the best lawsuit funding services?

I am looking into getting lawsuit financing and was curious who the best providers are.

Please leave some pros/cons if possible.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It's difficult to get funding for a garden variety lawsuit. Many lawsuits filed in small claims court are cheap and you won't need a lawyer for them, but I imagine that you're asking about the real thing.

You have two excellent options. One, find a law firm (a larger one, preferably) and see if they will take you case on pro bono (free). Firms usually do this to improve the firm's prestige and as community giving. The second is also good if your case means something to a certain group in particular. I have heard that the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is excellent with civil rights cases and major precedent-setting cases (http://www.splcenter.org/legal/assist/assist.jsp) Also, try the Legal Services Corporation (http://www.lsc.gov/)

Many local organizations can help too. The best way to get some free legal advice and find out how to get a lawyer and proceed is your local American Bar Association (ABA). There are other smaller Bar Associations that can be found through Google searches. The people there know a lot and they'll be able to help you out.

Be wary of television advertisements and organizations that help you file a lawsuit even if they're not actually lawyers. These organizations are walking a fine line legally and their advice will not be the best.

Hmmmm and the winners are:

This is one of those things that you should also discuss with your attorney first of all. Like eatthatpopcorn said you do need to be careful and never pay any fees upfront (remember you are the one in need). I would go with the tried and true names within the industry and don't fall for any gimmick rates or fees. If it is too good to be true it probably is.

A lawsuit loan can really help out some people but often times they are not needed. Only you can a***s whether you need to take out the loan. The leaders in the industry are linked above.

Those are two sources. But to be perfectly honest, the place to find good law places is not the internet or the yellow pages. Ask all your friends and co-workers if they know of a trustworthy place to finance your lawsuit. That way you will find someone reputable and won't get screwed!

Good luck! :)

Personal Injury Loans are a way for plaintiffs to get lawsuit finance before their case settles. The benefit of these loans are that they do not require any credit or employment history checks. The funds are advanced based solely on the merits of the case.
Lawsuit financing options are available to any plaintiffs with a pending lawsuit. The amount that will be advanced depends on the particular case and the expected settlement. Lawsuit funding companies are experienced with personal injury lawsuits and will evaluate each application on a case by case basis.
Personal Injury loans can be used for anything - more often than not they are used by the plaintiff tio meet their daily living expenses as lengthy lawsuits can drag them into debt and often they find themselves unable to work and support themselves and their families.
Case Cash offers guaranteed lawsuit funding - visit http://easycasecash.com/
