What are the best games for psp?

What's the most addicting? What's the one with the best graphics?
Tip for best answer: M$1.01
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Different people have different preferences with regard to gaming. A serious gamer’s preferences are not the same as them noobs out there. Even “tenured” gamers have different likes and dislikes as well. They have their own bias on which is best, storyline or graphics.
For you, I’ve laid out some of the best games fun-wise and graphics-wise in PSP. Just take your pick.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (or the recently released Monster Hunter 3) - This is an action-adventure game that requires a lot of strategy and timing. This is better played multiplayer, but playing alone is so much fun too. The title is pretty obvious for the setting.
Final Fantasy: Dissidia - One of Final Fantasy’s best games. Here, you will be able to use any main character of almost all Final Fantasy’s. This is a fighting game.
God of War (series) - This is a good action-adventure game for mythology lovers.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep - A by-product of Square-Enix and Disney. Graphics and game-play is really good too.
You can also try God Eater (no English version yet though), Patapon, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker/Portable Ops and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. For more games (with ratings and reviews), I would suggest you check http://www.gamespot.com/.

Hi @m3po! :)

I'm a bit of a gamer too but when it comes to liking and getting addicted to a game, the selection depends on what types of games do you like. Do you like adventure types or those cutesy fun games like Patapon? Or maybe you like those tough games such as God of War series... so, I say it depends.

As for me, I like those games that are fun and light which I could play when I'm just waiting for my bedtime after a long stressful day of work. I kind of enjoy playing Patapon, Loco Roco (games for kiddos, I know, XD but I swear, these two are awesome games), Little Big Planet (PSP), DJ Max (I swear, this one's very addicting) and even Tekken series (arcade). Those type of games are usually not that hard but enough to keep you glued and entertained. :)

But if you're after great stories, longer play hours, adventure and fancy graphics here are my suggestions...

1. God Of War: Ghost or Sparta or God of War: Chains of Olympus
- Ghost of Sparta's just out recently, haven't tried it yet but if you're a fan of previous God Of War series, then I'm sure you're gonna love this too. Chains of Olympus got pretty good reviews... a must try for every fan. :)

2. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
- Have you played this on the old Playstation? This one's awesome too. Although of course the graphics isn't as pretty as FF games on PS3, but the story's really great that it's a good thing they made a version for PSP as well.

3. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
- Reason why you'll like this is because of the different battle mode which isn't applicable on other Metal Gear games... instead of you fighting alone, you get to have up to four team members (yep, tell your friends about this ^^) to accomplish Co-ops missions.

4. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
- Who haven't played any of the Grand Theft Auto games? Although some critics opposes this game due to its content, this still is one of the best games ever. Anyway about this one, it's the same version as of the Nintendo DS sans the touch screen stuff. Same storyline but better graphics of course.

So there, if you're into action and advanture, those four are must try. But like I said, it depends on the gamer's perspective. If you're more into fun games, then maybe you'd like the games I mentioned a while ago which I enjoyed. Anyway, you should try those as well. They're worth it, promise... especially my favorite...

These are the best games for PSP according to Pocketgames.com:

1. Age of Zombies is an accomplished twin-stick shooter which means you can control your character with the left analogue stick and shoot with the face keys. This game is an excellent blaster with slick visuals and a cheekily expletive-fueled-sense of humor.

2. Cubixxworks remarkably well and suited for people who remember how games used to be which is simple, addictive and tough as old boots.

3. ModNation Racers is a mixture of familiar racing and innovative creativity and there's no question it earn a place on this list and considered one of the best PSP games.

4. echoshift is mind-twisting spatial puzzles in favor of mind-twisting temporal ones.

5. Vector TD is well represented game on PSP and has an innovative interest system plus the added customization element which lets you adjust the firing a parameter of each tower.
