Personally my favorites are ToToM - Bootleg is Resistance Vol. I/III but you have to be a NIN fan to really like that, I guess. I also like the Best of Bootie Yearly series.

These two guys with laptops have created several collections of mashups. Their specialty seems to be mixing hip-hop and indie rock. They're all available for free on their site. Look down the left-hand column.
I have the one called "Mixtape Volue One", and I recommend it.

24 hours is my favourite album, followed by Yoshimi Battles The Hip-Hop Robots, but they really are all worth a go.

Their CD isn't free but I'm pretty sure it's sold out. It's easy enough to find online, though.

This is where it's at! Great collection of free albums :)
The Best of Bootie 2008 has just been released... Bootie is the world's biggest mashup club night, started in 2003 with locations all over. They do a Best of Bootie album every year, that's extremely popular worldwide. I'd probably consider the Bootie people one of the top sources for all thinks mashup.
