What are the 8 (or so) chords at the end of "Friends, Lovers, or Nothing" by John Mayer?
At the end of "Friends, Lovers, or Nothing" by John Mayer (album name Battle Studies), there's a refrain with the lyrics "Anything other than yes is no..." etc. being repeated. I want to know what the chord progression is here, particularly for the piano part, but it won't be any different from the rhythm guitar part as far as I can tell.
Thanks in advance!

I worked it out on the piano in my head, and the ukulele in my hands, and I do believe the chord progression goes...
A, E (first inversion), F#m, A7, Dmaj7, G7, A, E
A, E (first inversion), F#m, A7, Dmaj7, G7sus -->G7, A, E
A, E (first inversion), F#m, A7, Dmaj7, G7sus -->G7, A, E
And just to be tricky, the fourth time around, it goes
A, C#m7, F#m, A7, Dmaj7, G7sus -->G7, A, E
then back to...
A, E (first inversion), F#m, A7, Dmaj7, G7sus -->G7, A, E
The E major triad first inversion means the bass note is a G# walking down from the A, which makes the Fm# chord sound natural as the next chord. When the C#m7 comes in just once, play the same E major triad but instead of a G# bass note play a C# bass note. Tasty!
