What are some web resources for the homeowner who is new to the zero energy concept?

Many people are interested in living a greener life, using fewer resources, and saving some money in the process. Someone who is new to the zero energy concept may just want to try out a few energy reduction tips, or get more information on how their actions impact the environment. What are some good websites that people who are looking to get started can check out? Are these web sites independent resources or are they affiliated with any kind of equipment manufacturer or service provider?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
