What are some tips for visiting Argentina?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I remember last year I gave @nushka some great ideas and a great link that I found for that city.
I'm spending the weekend in Buenos Aires. What should I do? Where should I go? What is the 'can't miss' experience?
Aside from Buenos Aires, it really depends on what you'd like to do?
If you want to spend some time on a train, you can catch one and go all the way south to Tierra del Fuego where there are penguins and glaciers. Or maybe not that far south and get off in Patagonia where the nature is breathtaking.
Cordoba isn't far from Buenos Aires and is a University town that claims to have the most beautiful people on the continent.
I would stop at the library or find a bookstore with a coffee shop and pick up a recent travel guide to Argentina. That way you can read through many of the interesting towns and cities and make your itinerary from there.
Regardless... I'm sure you'll have the trip of a lifetime!

M$Patagonia is great for nature lovers, but it's almost winter there now (reverse season). Iguazu Fall is a must see! Marta del Plata is great beach vacation destination, unfortunately, it's not cheap.
Some minor helpful hints I found are:
- Delicious and high quality steaks are amazingly cheap.
- The intercity buses are excellent, but the local city buses are not.
- Tap water is not directly drinkable.
