I'm an avid reader. Your post asks about romance and mystery. Sandra Brown has written several in this genre including Smoke Screen, Breath of Scandal, Envy, Mirror Image and more. I think these would fall under romance/mystery. Wendi Corsi Staub writes excellent Mystery novels. I think she is better than Mary Higgins Clark. I also love Harlan Coben and Greg Iles but they may be considered more Thriller than Mystery. Still something to think about :) I don't read too much fantasy so unfortunately I can't recommend anything from that genre. I hope this helps and that you find some books or new authors that you won't be able to get enough of!
