Starchy food such as pasta, potatoes, yuca, bread, and rice are not only easy to prepare but are great sources of fiber, calcium, iron, and B Vitamins. They give us energy as well as keep us feeling fuller for a longer amount of time.
Potatoes, yuca, sweet potatoes, and yams can be boiled or baked. Either way, the result is delicious and you don´t have to do much work other than choppin them into pieces and putting them on the baking pan or skillet with a little salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Pasta really couldn´t be simpler, since all you have to do is boil water with a little salt and olive oil and put the pasta in to cook for about 5 to 7 minutes.
