Well I found a few awesome and funky ones:

Duct tape Gordon Freeman (from Half-Life)

How about a duct tape suit?
(Perfect for meeting with the Mahalo staff)

Or duct tape Bender (from Futurama)

I used duct tape to make a 'dress' for a homecoming dance in high school. That was interesting! I used red duct tape and it was quite the hit! I had my earrings covered with black duct tape, my up-do had red and black duct tape clips in it, my clutch was covered in red and black duct tape and my heels had black duct tape all over them. It was a duct tape extravaganza!

And to make it even better my date had a duct tape tux on! It was epic!!

Fun question!

It was great! And it does seem to be a trend amongst certain ages because it comes in so many colors and you can do just about anything with it!

That is great! You've got a lot of talent in clothes design. So that's why everybody's buying colored duct tape. Cool.

The strangest thing that I have ever heard of using duct tape for is fixing a plane that had been ripped apart by a grizzly bear in Alaska. The guy patched his plane up, ordered in two new tires and flew the plane home.

The story is here: http://weinterrupt.com/2010/01/best-use-of-duct-tape-ever/ Interrupt (offsite link)

When it comes to duct tape stories, I don't think there is any way to top that.

I don't know if this is crazy enough, but we've just used duct tape to stop wasps from coming in the screen porch.

You see, it's been a long winter. And the little black cat gets bored. So she makes holes in the screen porch. Then she sits there waiting for mice and birds. (She got a bird once, but we rescued it.)

Now the weather's getting warm, and we forgot to buy screen patches. So duct tape will have to do until we get to the hardware store.

If it's good enough for NASA astronauts, it's good enough for me.

According to the Mythbusters, it really was "duck tape". Who knew?

I have not used duct tape on a lot of stuff. I more of a stapler person but today a girl was telling me about this show on CMT that is like "Flip this House" but instead they go to trailer parks and "flip" their house using a lot of duct tape. Thought it was funny that this question came up so I answered. If anyone knows what the name of the show is let me know sounds cool.

Duct Tape, Red Green, "Duct Tape Forever", if these are not familiar to you then you are a fake duct taper! My wife believes that I use it for everything. If something breaks and I say I'll fix it she will comment about the stock value of Duct Tape increasing again.

I have used it for so many things but the first time I used it and found it helpful personally was when I was hammering and hit my thumb. I duct taped my hurt thumb and it did two things, first it helped reduce the pain and second it helped keep the swelling down. I was able to go on hammering away.

I once taped my pants back together with duct tape. I was at an auction and tore the backside of my jeans, (exposing what was under them) and borrowed a roll of "Oklahoma chrome" from someone for a quick fix so I wouldn't miss any of the bidding. I was not a winning bidder that day, but walked away with a fascinating new term in my vocabulary.

hahaha great question :)

I love my duct tape. I used some last week for a bit of a strange job - its holding the door handle of the bathroom on the door! The darn handle has come off and you can't shut the door properly, and if there's one room in the house you need to be able to close the door its this one!!!!!

So, I wrapped a bit of tape around the handle and then taped the handle to the door - it stays shut when you close it but its a bit hard to open hehehe I am afraid if I don't fix it soon I'll spend a day in the bathroom waiting for someone to come home to let me out!! And no, Im not taking a pic, its embarrassing!!! hehehe

But here are a few pics I just LOVE using duct tape!

Baby looks happy really - not phased a bit about being taped to the wall hehehe
