What are some of the best ways to make home made frozen treats?

I remember while I was growing up we would do many creative things to create frozen treats. We would make a special kool aid in an ice cube tray then place sticks or something in them, or use them as flavored ice. What are some of the best home made frozen treat ideas that you have? Please share where it came from and the recipe!

My sister and I invented frozen tiramisu using commercial vanilla ice cream to substitute the mascarpone cheese because mascarpone cheese price is ridiculously high! As I’ve written how to make mascarpone cheese, it’s actually possible to make mascarpone cheese yourself, but I digress. Anyway, here’s what we do.

Layer a bowl or any container with lady’s fingers biscuits. Sprinkle them with espresso coffee mixed with some rum or any coffee liquor. Soften a quart of vanilla ice cream. Spread them over the lady’s finger. Layer again with the biscuits and spread with the vanilla ice cream again. It’s up to you how many layers you want it. Top with the ice cream. If you have whipped cream, spread some on the top and sprinkle with cocoa powder.

Yummy!

You might try these treats:
1. place your washed grapes in the freezer
2. place a yogurt cup in the freezer for about 2 hours (this is my favorite)
3. place a pudding cup in the freezer for about 2 hours
4. pour your flavored coffee in plastic cups, add a plastic spoon, when fozen eat like a popsicle. (you still get the coffee boost and flavor but its a lot cooler.
