You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I personally like Avocado ice cream. Here in the Philippines I have also tried Ube (a purple sweet potato), cheese (think cheddar, not cream), corn, and jackfruit flavors. I didn't care for the cheese but it is popular here. The Ube was good, the corn was not for my taste and the jackfruit was just ok.

I have heart of vegetable ice creams here but have not seen them

You should try the Avocado pudding, it’s a killer dessert.

Balsamic Gelatto, for sure! I never thought a vinegar ice cream would taste good. It's not just good, it's terrific. My friends make it at their restaurant in Spencer, NC but I'm sure other places make it.

Green tea ice cream. It's not your typical coffee ice cream...it's tea.

My son mixes Mango Sorbet with Cotton Candy Ice Cream at Maggie Moo's. The first time he ordered it I told him that if he didn't like it, I wasn't buying him another coneful. He took a bite and his face lit up. I had to try it, too. It looks like a hippie swirlie funkadelic dream. Tastes terrific though; the tartness of the mango is a great foil for the super-sweetness of the cotton candy! It allows the essence of both flavors to shine. And it's pretty.

In the 1970's, Baskin Robbins had my sister's all-time favorite, "grasshopper." It was a mix of pistachio, gumballs/cookie bits and coconut. Truly, it wasn't all that bad.

In Asia, many fruits have been made into ice cream. Durian ice cream is pretty strange. Although I prefer other Asian ice creams like green tea ice cream.

Tiramisu ice cream is pretty tasty too.

Ooo, I'll bet. The only time I've had durian it was frozen because that's the only way anyone in the family (Vietnamese friends) could bear the smell.
