What are some legitimate jobs that would be perfect for a stay at home Mom?

My sister in law just had a baby and needs to make money, yet she does not want to leave her baby. What are some jobs that would be perfect for a stay at home Mom? It can be online or offline.
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Jobs for mothers wishing to stay home have been the latest trends, especially with the advancements in the internet and the lifestyle changes that provides for a working environment right inside the confines of your home. The best about working at your home is that you are your own boss, avoid the daily traffic, and you have total flexibility as far as work schedule is concerned.

In order to sustain your work at home career, it is best that you make your loved ones understand that, you are still doing work, the only difference is you are doing it at home. Furthermore, you must have clear set of goals, discipline, enjoyment and passion to do your work at home.

There are a wide range of legitimate work-at-home jobs to choose from, according to mahalo.com:

-Transcriptionist
-Virtual Assistant
-Mystery Shopper
-Freelance Writer

If your sister in law is searching for work, she should choose one that she is passionate about. If she enjoys writing then she should look into freelance writing opportunities or write article forget-paid-to-write websites like ehow.com, hubpages.com, infobarrel.com and many other legitimate sites.
She can also start a blog about something that she is interested in or she can start a business by selling products or blog about other people's products. This will make her earn affiliate commissions from it.
She can also try data entry jobs or transcription related jobs if she is interested in working with numbers and typing. There are plenty of options that she can choose from. If she is still looking for some legitimate work at home jobs, she can visit the sites that I have listed below.
They have different categories like accounting and bookkeeping, customer service, data entry, telemarketing, medical and legal transcription, writing and many others.

These are the sites that she should visit:

I personally have been laid off twice in the last four years. This time I decided that no matter what I do for a full time job- I'm going to have a "plan B". For me that "plan B" is a home based business called SendOutCards. It's a company that prides itself on it's independent distributors self development and promotion. If you like to be involved in a company that actually cares about your future and have the ability to work from home, on your schedule- SendOutCards could be the answer. Send cards and gifts and show others how to send cards and gifts. That's it. Really. Visit www.SendOutCards.com/jmb and you can view a video that explains most of the basics. My contact information is also on that page if you would like to contact me directly. Good luck!

Medical transcription! You can tell your sister in law about this field as it provides numerous opportunities to work from home. But before she can start, she may need to take some courses in medical transcription as the job is pretty complex. If she’s interested, ask her to look into online medical transcription training at Career Step. The program is quite comprehensive and if she’s devoted, she can complete it in a few months’ time.
