You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I recently found an article from the Reader’s Digest online about some home remedies for dandruff
problems. Here are some of the suggestions that the article had regarding what you can use to help a dandruff problem:

Aspirin

Vinegar

Baking Soda

Lemon

Mouth Wash

Salt

Some of these may sound like some odd cures for dandruff, but the article goes into detail as to what each one will do, and how to use them. You can access the article at:

Another article you may want to check out regarding natural remedies for dandruff is located at the Buzzle website. Some of the remedies are repeated but there are a few more suggestions you might find interesting, such as using eggs as way to get rid of dandruff. The URL for this article is:

Daily shampooing is usually sufficient for mild cases. Coconut oil, olive oil and tea tree oil works great against dandruff. Apply coconut oil to the scalp and then brush the scalp with a natural bristle brush. Cover your whole head with olive oil and wash after half an hour. Apply a few drops of tea tree oil to your scalp half an hour before shampooing.
