What are some great tips for cleaning?
to make it fast and efficient!

I use Flylady's 15 minute timed cleaning sprees and 27 fling boogies to make it easy and like a game.
In a 27 fling boogie you grab a trash bag and "boogie" through the house, making fast decisions and tossing out 27 things as fast as you can.
Otherwise, set your timer for 15 minutes in one room, and go at it as fast as you can. It's okay to only clean the middles (ie vaccuming the middle of the floor, or cleaing the parts of the counter that show, dusting stuff on shelves but not taking everything off, etc).
Using a feather duster or silly rubber gloves for gunky messes (if you've ever watched How Clean is Your House - they use ones with fur trim!! Haha, mine are just leopard print rubber!!) can make it fun too, as is putting on your silliest retro rock music list on your iPod. I like weird 1950's songs or stuff by Weird Al. It's hard to be serious when you're listening to something utterly goofy!
I use her program for deeper cleaning too, though not exactly as she has it, it's pretty easily customizable.
