Here are a couple of recipes I've used in the past.

Mummy Dogs
Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
Wieners
(you select the number you need based on your number of guests)
peppercorns (or cake markers to decorate eyes/ mouth)

Preheat oven to 350. Open crescent rolls and roll out. Cut into long strips and wrap one around each wiener to create a mummy. Place on a cookie sheet add peppercorns for eyes and bake until golden brown. If using cake markers decorate after cooling slightly.

Graveyard gravel
1box of Chex Cereal
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups salted peanuts
2 cups 10 x sugar

Melt chocolate chips over low heat. Pour in cereal and nuts and mix well. Pour onto wax paper and allow to cool. When mixture is cool use a sifter to sprinkle powdered sugar over all. Serves well in sand pails with shovels.

Jack O Lantern Chili

VERY EASY... just scoop out chili into bowls. Cut a jack-o-lantern from a slice of cheese and place it on top of the chili.
If you prefer you can make your jack-o-lantern toppings from Cheese toast.

Hot Cocoa
Mix up instant cocoa and add a marshmallow ghost for decoration.

Easy spiced Apple Cider
1 cup of cinnamon dots candy
1 64 oz jar of apple juice (heated)
Serve from your crock pot!

I found a great pumpkin cheesecake that would be perfect for Halloween from Paula Deen of the Food Network. It takes 15 minutes of active prep time, 4 hours 15 minutes of inactive prep time and 1 hour to cook.

Indgredients:

Crust:
1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 stick melted salted butter

Filling:
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
1 (15-ounce) can pureed pumpkin
3 eggs plus 1 egg yolk
1/4 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

For crust:
In medium bowl, combine crumbs, sugar and cinnamon. Add melted butter. Press down flat into a 9-inch springform pan. Set aside.

For filling:
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add pumpkin puree, eggs, egg yolk, sour cream, sugar and the spices. Add flour and vanilla. Beat together until well combined.

Pour into crust. Spread out evenly and place oven for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and let sit for 15 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.

Enjoy!
