what are some good synonyms for "good times"? i'm looking for a phrase that implies the best parts of a relationship

i'm writing a sarcastic caption that currently has "keep the good times around" -- referring to trying to hold on to the best parts of the relationship. pretentious/desolate-sounding synonyms are ideal.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Heh, you pretty much answered your own question. Putting "Good" in quotes or "Good Times" in quotes does quite a good job of expressing sarcasm and disdain. Sometimes the simple ones are the best.

My favorite synonym, though, for "good times" would probably be "Halcyon Days". They refer to times of peace, serenity, order, happiness, etc. All the good stuff. The fact that Halcyon Days seem to be designated retroactively is itself kind of funny. And the fact that an unhappy relationship is almost the exact opposite of "Halcyon Days" makes the term a very ironic one to use. Irony, dry humor at its best. lol
