M$There are literally 1000s of books to choose from, all pretty much the same. My recommendation if you looking for books is 1) get something specific to your country 2) don't get fooled by writing a business plan in a day, it can takes weeks to gather the information you need, and 3) if possible, find a book specific to your type of business.
Inc.com has a very impressive knowledge based of tips, tools and info for people starting up, so check it out, definitely recommend it.
The ideal way to do it right straight away, while learning in the process, is enlisting the help of a business coach to teach you the things you need to know specific to your business, your vision, and your goals. Start-ups and small businesses we have helped in this way have been able to get their businesses started faster, and more profitable. Remember most coaches are former senior executives and successful business owners that will be able to bring a wealth of knowledge to the table.

M$Hi Angie,
I agree with Denis. Tap into the brain power of the experts who've -been there - done that - learned a lot of valuable things along the way.
On that note, I’d recommend my book as a resource, 'OutSell Yourself: Go from Hello to Sold with Ethical Business & Sales Techniques'. I've owned three companies & taught & coach hundreds of professionals to develop their business.
Here's my final comment, "make a plan and go for it!”
I enjoyed E-Myth Revisited though. It could be helpful for some people.
