What are some fun websites to visit?

I'm snowed in and going out of my mind...please help make the day go by faster and tell me some of the websites you go to that you can get lost in!

Thanks in advance!

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The absolute best site to visit to kill time is www.stumbleupon.com. It is a social website where other people find cool things and other people rate them. If you press the stumble button, it will pull up a website tailored to your interests.

I used to enjoy:

http://www.dailyconfession.com/
http://www.darwinawards.com/

You can always waste lots of time at Facebook with various apps.

I particularly enjoy www.kiva.org and reading about the entrepreneurs requesting loans as well as journal updates on how existing borrowers' lives have been positively affected by the loans.

Also, youtube.com. I tend to look for one video that I'm interested in and then just keep following the suggested videos.

If I have time, which is very rare lately, I will go on pogo.com or iwin.com and play some of the games. I prefer pogo though, poppit is fun and also stackem, those are the games I usually play. :)

Another site is freerice.org. You play a vocabulary game and give the definition to each word that is displayed, they get harder as you play and for each right answer, 20 grains of rice is donated by the UN World Food Program. it's such a cool idea, and it's fun to play the game. Time goes by quickly when you're playing, and you're helping to feed the world too!

My very favorite when I'm bored is Scribal Terror. Gayle finds all kinds of interesting, weird, and intriguing things to post. She consistently gets nominated for blog awards, too.

www. addictinggames.com is a good one to pass some time. Its full of mini flash games. I will list a bunch of sites that I browse frequently. Most of them are tech oriented though.
