What are some fun ideas for a Rocky Horror Picture Show viewing-party?
I have heard numerous stories about how audiences used to interact with The Rocky Horror Picture Show, by yelling out names when certain characters names were said or throwing food at the screen when certain things were said or done. I am going to be having a little movie party with some friends and we have decided to pick this movie. So I want to recreate some of the interactions that were done back in the day, and are maybe even done today when viewing the movie. I want to be able to put the interactions on a card of some sort or maybe on an invitation so everyone can be prepared. I’m also open to new suggestions as well to make viewing this particular movie fun. Feel free to make daring suggestions as well, just like they do during the movie.

Rocky Horror is the first and only true audience partici-(SAY IT!)-pation movie, that is known. People in the audience will yell back lines at the screen during the extended pauses between dialogue, dress up in costume and act out the film, and throw props various times during the film. When it is your first time you are given the "virgin kiss", which is to show that you have never been there before. They also give you a goody bag which consists of rice, cards, and water. When the show is about to start, the crew on stage will call all virgins on to the stage. They then do fun little things then move on to the movie. During the parts in the movie you are to throw toast at the screen and the actors. Every time Janet is said, you scream Whore, and other things as well. In the Wedding scene you throw the rice. They let you know everything you can do and what is not allowed. It is a fun experience and I enjoyed it every time I would go!

As a fan who has sat through that movie 72 times from the age of 13 to 15 (and mixed some great martinis in the back row)... you mentioned some great lines.
In addition to screaming 'whore' after Janet, we would always say 'vice'... if they mentioned her last name of 'Weiss'.
(we would also say a**hole every time they mentioned Brad's name too)
To have a great time watching this movie, all you really need are some fun friends!
